Weekly Digest
Yasou (hello in Greek)! Here is your weekly dose of my best tips for how to travel the world while you grow your career and make a difference.
Travel the world
Are you feeling nostalgic about a trip or want to let your palate guide your next destination? Check out Saveur’s recipes from around the world. They have a list of pictures and recipes for over 7,000 international recipes. Are you craving Vietnamese banh mi, Lebanese kofta, Georgian khachapuri, Greek moussaka, or an Indian spiced dal? (me: umm yes, always). Well, their site nearly has it all.
Grow your career
Thomas Corley spent five years researching the daily habits of self-made millionaires and concluded that “daily habits dictate how successful or unsuccessful you will be in life. There is a cause and effect associated with habits. Habits are the cause of wealth, poverty, happiness, sadness, stress, good relationships, bad relationships, good health, or bad health.” Here are the 13 habits he found for this group of people.
Make a difference
Design matters. If you are trying to make an impact, understanding the beauty, functionality, and inspiration factor of whatever you create or communicate is crucial. I recently fell in love with the Netflix Original Series, Abstract: The Art of Design. Here is a trailer for it as well.
